Anti-Bacterial Pre-Filter

The anti-bacterial pre-filter is the first stage of the 3-stage filter cartridge. It's job is to capture the largest dust particles.

By capturing large particles the pre-filter takes a load off the other filter stages, allowing more pores to remain available in the activated carbon and HEPA air filters for the harder-to-remove pollutants. This extends the useful life of the activated carbon and HEPA filter stages.

Bacteria captured in the pre-filter is destroyed so they don't reproduce and recirculate into the air.

Vacuuming off the pre-filter once a month will extend the life of the entire filter cartridge.
